- Winchester City Festival Choir combines with six other choirs

Winchester City Festival Choir will be combining with six other choirs in a performance of Verdi's Requiem at the Anvil, Basingstoke on Sunday 11th May.
This performance marks the retirement of the very popular conductor of the Compton and Shawford Festival Choir, John Sutton.
Other choirs participating are the Botley Choral Society, the Itchen Valley Choir, the Overton Choral Society, the Sarisbury Choral Society, the Twyford Singers and the Compton and Shawford Festival Choir.
Conductor John Sutton will lead the combined choirs for a final concert before he retires. John set up Voices for Hospices Choir with his wife Jenny.
